Working with kids isn't for everyone - and we take the care of our youngest members VERY seriously. The first step is making this place your church home, and regularly attending for 4 months. Every volunteer must go through a background check administered by the Chico Police, as well as interviews with our pastoral staff.

We do our best to schedule folks one weekend a month, as well as one of the 5th Sundays. Some volunteer positions will need more frequent help, but the staff member lead will contact you to discuss details.

This is an important ministry within our church. When you are part of the Guest Services Team, you are in a position to monitor the pulse of the community. You are our guests’ first impression and your service can help facilitate pastoral care.

Do you feel most comfortable with tools in your hand and a job to accomplish? Then you are a perfect fit for our Facilities Team! Maintaining the church is one of the ways that we best steward the blessing of the building that God has given to us. 

One thing a church family should do well is take care of people in times of crisis or transition. Meal Team 6 is a group of people in our church that receive an email about families with someone in the hospital, a new baby coming home, or a family that just moved into a new place. We each sign up to make a meal and deliver it!

We give out family food bags weekly! If you care about folks who don't have enough food, you can join our team! We take donations, shop, and visit the Butte County Food Bank to bring food to campus. We stock the shelves and pack the bags. We give out food. You can help!

Our Kids Zone rocks! Every week we have a fun interactive Bible session, play games, and make a craft. Volunteering in these classrooms is a great way to pass on the love of Jesus and encourage the kiddos to build their relationship with God. 

We are looking for more people to train for our tech loft! We schedule people to work with big screen visuals, lights, live sound, and the live webcast. With everything needing to be digital nowadays, this is definitely an area in which we always need help, and we are able to train those who are a "little bit" techy and a "lot bit" willing to learn!

Are you an established, practiced musician? Do you feel called to lead others into the throne room of God? Joining the worship band is a big calling, and we audition those with the proper skill sets who are interested in joining the team.
