There are a multitude of folks that make the magic happen at Hope Commons. Here are just a few that can help get you connected!
Ron Zimmer
Teaching Pastor
Ron came to Chico as the lead pastor in the summer of 2002. He spent a decade as a youth pastor in the Pacific Northwest and is a graduate of Northwest Nazarene University. He has two adult daughters that still will hang out with him, and two grandkids that he adores -- all local!
Mario Yanes
Youth
Mario grew up right here in Chico and has been with us since 2002. He took some time off to become a Marine and graduate from UC Santa Barbara. Now he is back in school working on his pastoral credentials. Principally, Mario works with our youth, but you can find him in all kinds of roles during weekend worship.
Martin Murphy
Recovery
Martin first joined our recovery team in 2013 and has become a huge part of our church! His day job is working as a concrete contractor building pools and driveways, but his life's work is helping folks find life change through step work. He leads our 12 Step group we call Serenity, and is in school working on his pastoral credentials.
